Sacramento- Eire is a very mellow and shy girl. She was a mom dog and her babies have been adopted and now she is looking for her forever home. She was very frightened when she came to us from Tulare Animal Services, however, she is now shy but more social. She needs a quieter home, rambunctious children would be too much for her. Ultimately, she needs a patient home. One that knows she might hide under your bed for a few days, and you just need to try to love her and not be too demanding. I know, it sounds like a lot of work, however, one thing I think everyone who has adopted a dog like her knows- in the end, it is worth the work. She will be an amazing companion for the rest of her life, so a few weeks of time should be nothing. She is probably about 3 years old, and we don't know what her breed is, but assume perhaps a cocker spaniel and dachshund (or could be a cavalier for all we know).
