Sacramento- Nugget is a bit of a anomaly. I have tried to guess what the breed of this guy is and at 8 or so weeks old he is a 4 lb mack truck. He is low and thick, but super small! Is he a Chihuahua/Bully mix? The vet thought maybe a chug mix, but all I know is this red brindle boy has a personality! He wants to cuddle and snuggle, but as he was a bottle baby (single) he needs some work with resource guarding, bite inhibition and some other things that they learn from being with their littermates. Since he is off of quarantine, I have him with another litter now, so lets see how quickly he catches up! But he may need more of a savvy family committed to undoing the damage done by stupid owners dumping a baby puppy at the shelter and not keeping the family together so everyone is properly socialized. He has lived with dogs (likes big ones, cats, and kids) so he just needs to overcome these normal puppy issues and hope we can do it by the time he goes home.
