Sacramento-Caiman is one of our Malinois/GSD puppies who came from Antioch shelter. When the breeder was unable to sell all the pups, they ended up at the shelter. When most people (who know working dogs) see the breed they think super high energy working dogs. Well his brothers are quite lazy and cuddly; however, Caiman (named that because Malinois are often referred to as "Maligators") is hig
her energy than his brothers. Still not working dog material, but he would do best in an active household. It is super important that these breeds of dogs get the structure and training they need. They are currently being fostered by Paws In Progress (so we could get proper evaluations and assistance if needed with finding the right fit for them) so they are starting off with great training but it lies on the adopters to make sure to follow through (the last think you want is an untrained maligator roaming the sewers of NY) and provide them with structure and training.
