SPECIAL NEEDS- Moly is an amazing and dainty little girl with Spina Bifida. She had stem cell surgery as part of a study at UC Davis to try to find treatments for Spina Bifida.  Her legs are a little wonky and she is tiny, but she won't let that stop her.  She has mastered going down and is doing great going up stairs bigger than her! She is incontinent and do not expect that to change as he ages. Se will require bowel and bladder expression (not invasive or gross kind of Dr. Pimple popper-esque with poop).  We do a combination of diaper and diaper-free time in order to make sure her skin stays healthy as well.  Otherwise, she is a super happy, snuggly, occasionally playful and always a loving baby. Most of our SB bulldogs just wear baby diapers or a combination of those and washable ones, but each owner figures out what is best.  Girls are much easier than boys, and she is actually easier than most. Honestly, most days it is about 30 minutes of work to manage all the diaper changes and special care that is needed. In some ways, having diaper dogs are easier (don't have to worry about puppies needing to go outside and getting viruses, don't have to worry about them going out when it rains or is too hot --since they are very temperature sensitive--, can go on long car rides without having to stop etc). I can say the diapers are probably easier than potty training too! Especially stubborn bulldogs who lets say are potty trained but still pee on your bed for some reason unknown to anyone ... but this isn't about my dogs.

Molly is magical and anyone would be lucky to have her! She is raised with other dogs as well and so has been well socialized in general.

SHE WILL ONLY BE ADOPTED TO THE SACRAMENTO/DAVIS AREA! He is a part of a research study and will need to follow up with his friends at UCD (right now it would be mid-May, September and next March).  This is a requirement to adopt him and the adoption contract requires this,  if the adopter does not make these appointments, then they will be billed for the entire cost of the medical care (about 10-15k).
