Sacramento-
Saaz is the runt and is also a sensitive little guy. He’s loveable and totally the little brother and likely would benefit from an older model dog to show him what to do. He’s very curious but tentative. He’s the runt and we cannot tell if his fur is more doodle or husky yet.
We were asked by Placer County Animal Services to take a cute labradoodle and her puppies. We hate seeing any babies in shelters, and so we said yes. I questioned the breed of her puppies because most looked husky. We decided to do a DNA test on mom and was shocked to find out, she is half sled dog! Her DNA test came back 37.5% husky, 25% Labrador and 12.5% of each of the following — malamute, Standard Poodle and Lhasa Apso.
These are high energy breeds, who are smart and loyal but not dogs you can just simply throw in the backyard or crate all day and expect them to be happy and healthy dogs. If you are not already living an active lifestyle, these may not be the breeds for you. Of course, they may end up being laid back, but at this point we cannot say and would expect that any potential adopters will be ready for that. This also means, we are not considering families in apartments, unless you are also a runner or have some other plan on how to appropriately exercise them. If you are looking for a couch dog, we can help you find one of those- but these are not it! We are committed to find the best homes for these pups and expect there will be lots of great applications. If you are interested in more than one of the puppies, please also note that on the application.
He is neutered, mircochipped and up to date on vaccines.
