Sacramento- Dexter came to us probably a day from death. Born in a shelter and mom never had proper milk supply and his brother stole it all. We realized this Immediately so he was bottle fed. Bottle fed puppies are always the best because they form this deep attachment to humans. He had the best of both worlds, moms(s) to socialize him and teach dog behavior and then lots of people socialization (including lots of kids). He is a chihuahua mix puppy and his mom is about 10 pounds but he seems to be larger than his brother so who knows about dad.
