Sacramento- Tanner is a 5 month old Pit Bull who is a near perfect puppy. She loves other dogs, adores cats (though she does sometimes play too rough), and ignores the free range chickens at her foster home. She is intelligent and learns the rules very quickly. She is mellow when you are lazy, but rambunctious and goofy when you want to play. She knows who her person is and wants nothing more to be by their side. Tanner has perfected her snuggling technique and can fit into a ny lap!
She grew up in a large homeless camp where a roaming dog severely broke her leg at a young age. Because of this, her front leg needed to be amputated. She has adjusted well and can romp and play (and even swim) with the best of them! However, she does have some limitations because of it. She tires out faster than the other dogs and sometimes has trouble “hopping” around after too much activity. Though, this is when her cuddling is at its all time best!
